Refund and Cancellation Policy
Effective EFFECTIVE_DATE · Last updated LAST_UPDATED
In short
Cancel any time in settings, in two clicks, with no email required. While CreatorBase is invite-only it is free, so there is nothing to refund yet.
This summary is for orientation only. The numbered sections below are the actual terms.
1.Right now: nothing to pay
CreatorBase is free during the invite-only period. There is no card on file, no trial that converts, and no charge. Nobody will be billed without being told the price in advance and choosing to accept it.
The rest of this page is the policy that applies once paid plans exist. It is published now so that it is not written under pressure later.
2.Cancelling
- Cancel in the app, under Settings. It takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep full access until then.
- No cancellation email, no phone call, no retention flow designed to wear you down. If cancelling ever takes more than a couple of clicks, that is a bug — report it.
- No cancellation fee, and no minimum term unless you chose an annual plan.
- Your data stays available for the rest of the paid period so you can export it.
3.Refunds
| Situation | What you get |
|---|---|
| Within 14 days of your first payment | A full refund, no reason needed. |
| Monthly plan, cancelled mid-month | Access to the end of the period. No partial refund, because you keep the service you paid for. |
| Annual plan, cancelled mid-term | A pro-rata refund of the unused whole months. |
| We discontinue the service or a feature you paid for | A pro-rata refund for the period not delivered. |
| Extended outage we caused | A pro-rata credit or refund for the affected days. Ask; we would rather you did than churned quietly. |
| You were charged in error, or twice | Refunded in full as soon as we see it, and we will tell you what went wrong. |
| Account terminated for breaching the Acceptable Use Policy | No refund. |
Refunds go back to the original payment method, normally within 5 to 10 business days. Ask at [CONTACT_EMAIL](mailto:CONTACT_EMAIL).
4.Statutory rights
If you are a consumer in the UK or the EU you have a statutory right to cancel a distance contract within 14 days. Because a subscription starts immediately at your request, you may be charged for the portion used before you cancelled — but the 14-day full refund above is more generous than the statutory minimum, and it is what we will apply.
Nothing in this policy removes a right you have under consumer law that cannot lawfully be removed.
5.Usage allowances
Paid plans will include allowances for the expensive operations — deep research, post teardowns, image generation, realtime voice.
- Unused allowance does not roll over, and is not refundable.
- We will warn you before you reach a limit rather than failing in the middle of your work.
- Reaching a limit never causes data loss, and never publishes something half-finished.
6.Price changes
We will give at least 30 days' notice by email before a price rise, and it will not take effect until your next renewal. You can cancel before then and pay nothing more.
7.Your data after cancelling
- Cancelling ends billing. It does not delete your account — you can come back.
- Deleting your account deletes your data, permanently, after a short grace period.
- Data is removed within 30 days of deletion, with encrypted backups overwritten on their own rolling 30-day schedule. See the Privacy Policy.
- Export before you delete. Content you already published stays on the platform you published it to — that content is not ours to remove.
